Sacred Unrest
Sacred unrest refers to a state of dissatisfaction or discomfort regarding social, environmental, or spiritual issues. Sacred unrest recognizes the deep sense of urgency and responsibility that individuals feel towards addressing the problems and injustices in the world, and more specifically for our purposes, the Christian church.
This concept acknowledges that unrest can be a state worthy of deep respect and a catalyst for positive change and transformation. It emphasizes the need for individuals to channel their concerns and passions into meaningful action to create a more just and sustainable world. Sacred unrest encourages people to engage in activism, community building, and personal growth to address our challenges as a global society and church.
